In the heart of Selsey, just south of Chichester, Tenchley Manor stands as a warm and welcoming home offering nursing, respite, and end-of-life care. Picture well-maintained gardens, a wheelchair-friendly promenade, and the soothing sound of waves at your doorstep.

With 37 bedrooms spread across two floors, our rooms can be personalized to feel like home. Double rooms are available for couples, and residents are encouraged to bring their belongings for a homely touch. Our comfortable and spacious lounges and dining areas are perfect for sharing meals and spending time together whilst appreciating the view of the Isle of Wight and Sandbanks.

About Tenchley Manor

We believe in making every day special for our residents by offering a variety of enjoyable activities each week, allowing them to do what they love or try something new. As part of the local community, we work with schools, groups, and others to keep residents engaged and active. Regular activities include exercise classes, quizzes, gameshows, arts and crafts, seasonal themed days, bird watching, creative talks, singing, pets therapy with dogs and ponies, and our summer fete and pantomime.

Activities and Entertainment

Good food is a vital part of our care, not just for health but to give residents the freedom to enjoy what they love, whenever they want.

Our chef carefully considers everyone’s dietary needs, including preferences, allergies, and special diets. We hold monthly nutritional meetings, where residents contribute to menu planning, and themed days are a regular highlight.

We offer written and picture menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks and drinks available mid-morning, afternoon, and evening. Sandwiches, biscuits, and refreshments are accessible throughout the day to ensure residents always have something they enjoy.
